/ Service 01The Muscle by Tyler Reed
Borders that hold for decades.
Custom concrete landscape curbing in Western Kentucky. Decorative, durable borders for flower beds, driveways, and walkways — stamped, colored, and sealed to last.
/ Dept 01Why Curbing
Concrete curbing gives you a clean, finished edge that holds its line through every mowing season. We extrude every curb on site in one continuous pour — no seams, no shifting blocks, no re-bordering every spring. Pick a stamp, pick a color, and we'll handle the rest.
/ Dept 02How We Build It
Ten steps from your first phone call to a curb you can show off. We don't sub it out, we don't cut corners, and we keep you in the loop the whole way through.
We walk the property with you, measure the linear feet, and talk through bed shapes, style options, color, and finish. You'll leave with a written, line-item quote — no pressure to sign on the spot.
Before we mobilize we meet again to lock in the final design — style, color, sealer, and any special details — so the crew shows up knowing exactly what you want.
We mark every curve and run with paint and stakes so you can see the finished footprint before a single shovel hits the ground. Adjust anything you want — we'd rather move paint than concrete.
We strip the sod, square off the trench shoulder, and clear roots and debris so the curb sits on clean, compacted ground. Good prep is the difference between a curb that lasts and one that walks.
A shallow channel is cut along the marked line at a consistent depth and width — a stable footing for the curb to bond and hold its shape over freeze/thaw cycles.
We mix concrete on site to the right consistency for extrusion, then run it through the curb machine in a continuous pour. That seamless extrusion is what gives you a clean, monolithic edge with no joints to fail.
Hand-troweled smooth, edges shaped, and the surface tightened up before stamping. This is the step that separates a quick curb from a curb you want to show off.
While the surface is workable we press in your chosen pattern and cut control joints at consistent intervals so any future movement happens cleanly along a hidden line — not as a surprise crack.
Once cured, we apply a high-quality sealer that locks in the color, fights UV fade, and shrugs off water, mulch acid, and de-icer. Resealing every couple of years keeps it looking new.
We clean up, haul off our spoils, and walk the finished work with you. From here on out it's mowed-edge-clean, mulch-stays-put, neighbors-asking-who-did-it kind of yard.
